How Much Mulch Do I Need?
The quick math is area times depth, converted to cubic feet, then bags or yards. Two cubic feet per bag is a common mulch bag size; check the label on what you plan to buy.
Worked example: 150 sq ft bed, 3 inches deep. The assumptions block lists area, depth, bag size, and both purchase lines.
